1. Fisrtly ensure that you have the latest firmware and software runing on your system. Latest versions can be downloaded from here: http://www.origenae.com/support/index.php?action=file_library

2. You will need to modify some operating parameters in IR Trans using the GUI client. Ensure IR Trans is running then run the GUI client by clicking on it from your start menu.

 

 

3. From the IRTrans GUI Client select 'Mode' then 'Device Status'

 

 

4. From the Set Mode console change the value of Recv. Timeout[ms] to 5

 

 

5. Click 'Set Mode' and close all other dialog boxes to complete the changes. The Microsoft MCE keyboard should now function.
